By the fountain? That's pretty central to everything.

Alright. You might beat me there, but I'll be there soon enough.

I wouldn't want to keep you waiting, anyway~

[Whenever Wanderer gets there, he'll find Heizou sitting by the fountain with happy little bubbles floating around his head. He's obviously excited to be there. He's even a little more dressed up than usual, just because.

As soon as Heizou spots him, the bubbles around him promptly pop- only for a whole bunch of pink heart-shaped ones to appear in their place.]

Wanderer~!

[Wanderer looks up when he hears his name, frowning in confusion when he sees the pink hearts surrounding Heizou.

And utterly oblivious to the pinkish bubbles popping up around him.]

What are those bubbles?

[book2thehead]

[Heizou hurries over to join him, beaming the whole while. There are... so many pink bubbles. And he chuckles a little while he pokes one of the ones floating around his companion.]

I'm not sure, to be honest. They started appearing a little while ago... And it seems like they change shape depending on who you're with.

[threebetrayals]

So why are they--

[Oh no. He starts to swat the bubbles away from around his head.]

Why pink hearts, of all things?

[book2thehead]

[He smiles while Wanderer does that, even as he pops another one with his finger as it drifts closer to him.]

Hmm~ I wonder! What do you think~?

[Heizou has his theory, of course. But it's one that Wanderer might not want to hear.]

[threebetrayals]

I don't know.

[Honestly, do you think he's going to think that hard about something annoying him?]

Where do you want to eat?

[book2thehead]

[That response just makes Heizou chuckle a little. Typical Wanderer.]

There's a tavern that Venti and I like to go to... Do you wanna try it?

[threebetrayals]

...alright. As long as we can eat outside, if it's too crowded.

[book2thehead]

Of course! Let's get going then, shall we~?

[He's so pleased. And he's absolutely taking Kuni by the hand to lead him to the tavern, a whole cloud of pink bubbles trailing after him.]

[threebetrayals]

[And he goes, not even grumbling about his hand being held, though part way there he has to stop and take his hand back to sneeze.]

--what the hell?!

[Rose petals?!]

[Heizou stops when Kuni does, looking over to see-- And blinks.]

What- Where did those come from?

[threebetrayals]

I sneezed, and that happened!

[He gestures to the rose petals.]

[book2thehead]

[He immediately steps right into Wanderer's space, laser focused on searching his face for signs of how in the world flower petals came out of his nose.]

Do you feel okay? You didn't eat anything new, did you?

[threebetrayals]

I haven't eaten anything since this morning, and that was chai and yogurt. [He still doesn't eat much, sue him.] Nothing that would cause me to sneeze flower petals.

That's hardly a breakfast, Wanderer...

[It's a half-assed scolding and they both know it, but Heizou is kind of more focused on the sneezing flower petals thing. His eyes dart down to where the flower petals have landed, then back up to the cloud of colorful bubbles that are still somehow floating over their heads.

Ah.

Heizou snorts softly, his expression turning back to one of amusement.] I think I get it now, more or less~

Care to elaborate, then?

[book2thehead]

Mmm. You're not gonna like it~

[He pointedly pops one of the pink hearts with a finger.]

[threebetrayals]

Just tell me.

[A Look.]

[book2thehead]

[He tries to hold back his smile, lips pursing a little.]

Our dream world seems to have found a new to way to broadcast some of our thoughts and feelings to one another. And considering the shape of these bubbles--

[He blows at one of the heart-shaped ones, singling it out from the rest... As if most of them aren't also heart-shaped.]

-it's been inspired by the romantic holiday~

[What.

Wanderer just stares in mild dawning horror before he tries to swat the bubbles away from around his head.]

This place has no sense of privacy.

[Heizou laughs.]

I told you you wouldn't like it!

How do we get the bubbles to stop? I don't want everyone knowing what I'm thinking.
