[Wanderer rolls his eyes and just shoves at Heizou, as if he were a child.]

[The shove just makes him giggle, swaying right back so their shoulders bump together.]

Hmm... That still seems different from liking it, though. You're just letting me do what I want. It's not coming from you.

[He wants to be kissed back. Is that so bad?!]

[...ah. He gets it.

Wanderer doesn't respond right away, debating the merits of not giving Heizou an answer and just moving on. After a moment, he just sighs.]

[Obviously he knows how to kiss, but how do you explain that you don't know how to initiate affection with anyone at all? He's hoping Heizou gets that.]

[Heizou takes that moment to sip at his tea some more. And he knows how Wanderer is, so he fully expects him to not answer at all. Maybe he'll think on it for a little while and come back to it later. So he's surprised when he responds just a moment later, blinking at him over the rim of his teacup.

He does get what he means, though. Wanderer kissed him back that time in the cafe, forever ago. But it was still brief, and as always, Heizou had been the one to initiate it.]

[He's learning, okay? He's learning a lot.]

Well... How about this. From now on I can tell you when I wanna kiss you, and then you can ask me why and decide whether or not to allow it.

Or you can just kiss me, and if I don't want you to I'll just stop you.

[Heizou just... watches him for a second, head tilting ever so slightly.]

...Only if that means you'll tell me if you suddenly realize you would like to be kissed.

[He doubts that will happen like Heizou is expecting, but whatever.]

[Honestly he doesn't know how he expects that to work out. Either way, that's about when the absurdity of this conversation catches up to him, and Heizou can't help but snort a little laugh into his teacup.]

This- [He makes a kind of... vague circular gesture at the both of them, still giggling.] This conversation... It's a little silly, don't you think?

What, that we're trying to figure out kissing?

[He smirks.]

[He leans a little closer, reaching up to poke into Wanderer's cheek with a broad smirk of his own.]

That you're trying to figure out kissing. I happen to be quite good at it~

You're the one who's trying to figure out how to kiss me, because for some reason what we've been doing doesn't work for you anymore.

[Well, when he puts it that way... Heizou's cheeks do go a little red.]

I told you, I started thinking maybe you didn't like it!

And you should know by now, if I don't like something I'll tell you.

[A gentle poke.]

[He pokes right back with another laugh.]

I know, I know.

[He does know. He'd just started to doubt. And it's not like there's anyone he feels he can comfortably go to for help when that façade of confidence wanes.]
