You can even ask the Traveler about it the next time he appears, if you want. I'm very independent.

I've been asleep for a month. You should rest.

It wasn't like I was here every single hour of every single day. I had to keep Nahida from dying of frostbite.

That doesn't help your case at all. It sounds like something else you deserve to take a rest over.

I'm fine, Heizou. You just woke up from a coma.

Then how about I stay up for a while to read while you get some sleep?

Because I am fine, for the last time, and you need more actual rest!

I can rest while I read! I'm not saying I'm going to jump up and do laps around Reverein in the middle of the night, after all.

[He scoffs.]

If I agree to stay with you, will you stop nagging me to rest and actually rest yourself?

[That... makes Heizou's cheeks go pink, even as his whole face basically lights up with delight.]

Then fine, I'll stay with you a little longer. Happy?

[Heizou beams, nodding once. Yes. He's... very happy, actually.]

...whatever. [Please ignore the weird feeling in his gut at that.] Your books are where you left them.

[He starts to get up so he can find the book he'd been reading before he fell asleep, only to realize his legs are still a little wobbly under him and drop back onto the bed.]

..Huh. I guess this'll take a little longer than I thought.

I told you. Which book?

[book2thehead]

[He lets out a little sigh and starts to swing his legs a little over the edge of the bed, just so that they're moving again. All while he tells Wanderer the title of the book.]

I think I fell asleep holding it. I was only about a third of the way through.

Oh, that one.

[It...is not where Heizou left it. It is on the shelf. Because Wanderer read it one day.

Hopefully Heizou just thinks Wanderer cleaned up a bit or something as he goes to get the book for him.]

[His head tilts as he watches Wanderer go to retrieve it. That reaction doesn't tell him much, and that only makes Heizou more curious.]

...Everything else is where I left them, but that book you decided needed to be tidied away?

It was on your bed.

[Not even a hint at anything being off as he hands the book over.]

Only because I was reading it!

[He takes it back easily enough, though he does keep looking at Wanderer for just a moment longer... And then he starts to settle himself back into bed, scooting over to give Wanderer more room.]

..What were you reading when I woke up?

A book I got from the store.

[That he is not going to show the title of, since it's the sequel to the one in Heizou's hand.]

[He quirks an eyebrow upward.]
