So in lieu of that, he's sitting around healer camp and working on some whittling, to make sure he's got something to do with his hands.

I... might have gone a little overboard, sorry! I was originally just going to make the bread for you--babka breads have always been a bit of a comfort food of mine since I was a kid. I always had sweet ones, but since you specifically requested savory, I thought this pesto and mozzarella version might be more to your tastes.

The ham and cheese scones I kind of added on a whim because I stumbled on the recipe by coincidence and they sounded good. Please enjoy!
